WOW...quiet in this thread. So first of I just wanted to say that I am not here to troll, I'm here to get a vibe on the Sharks and where they are headed in the next few years. I don't want to piss anyone off by suggesting the Sharks need to gut the team and rebuild, but it is safe to say this team has failed to meet expectations in the playoffs the past 5 or more years. So my question is, do the Sharks plan on moving forward with Marleau and Thornton, and will they be extended past next season as they are both UFA's?
How much is expected from the club in this years playoff's? Would an early exit signal a time for change?
